  Dr Gay is the best doctor that I have ever had, and I firmly believe that he saved my life. I thought for two years that I had a hemerrhoid problem, and sought the advice of two other medical "professionals" who examined me and let me go on believing I had hemerrhoids. I then referred myself to Dr. Gay for hemerrhoidectomy. He scheduled me for a colonoscopy and endoscopy, and immediately recognized I did not have hemerrhoid, but instead had anal cancer. He put together an excellent treatment team and got my treatment under way very quickly. My cancer was stage IIIA by the time it was diagnosed properly. Had I listened to the previous two medical "professionals" I have no doubt that I would be planning my funeral arrangements instead of looking forward to a rich and full life after treatment. Dr. Gay has an excellent bedside manner and will talk straight with you, while also being understanding and caring. He displays the utmost professionalism. I would never go to anyone else for surgery, unless it was his recommendation to do so. The staff in Dr. Gay's office are equally as caring and professional . Thank you, Dr. Gay for saving my life!
